Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Come here often for special occasions and me and my family always love it! We visited again today and our waitress Dayanna was such a sweetheart, took amazing care of us even tho she had just gotten a huge table and was the only waiter running plates. Please make sure she stays employed because she is wonderful! We came around noon as a party of 3 so just able to walk in, but if you want to come in the evening or any time on the weekends I would definitely recommend a reservation ahead of time.

We were a party if 4 at the restaurant and had a very bad experience with the restaurant. There was a approx 30 minute delay in delivering our meat, there was smoke all over our clothes from poor ventilation. The restaurant management here was very disappointing and poor. Our sever Tobi was great and able to mitigate the problem we had very well. However the manager is not able to manage his staff well and has led to undue stress on staff and poor service. Do not recommend this place and will not be coming back.

My family and I usually love Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ. Itβs one of our go-to spots because my kids get to interact itβs like Korean BBQ, but Japanese style, and normally such a fun experience. But today was honestly VERY disappointing. As you can see in the photos, the fire was way too high and smoke was constantly blowing directly into our faces and my kids. It was uncomfortable the entire time. On top of that, the two servers (both with slicked-back hair, a little longer on the sides) kept bringing out more food even though our table was already full. There was literally no space, and it just made everything more chaotic. What really bothered me is they walked by multiple times, clearly saw what was going on, and never once checked on us or tried to fix it. Weβve had great experiences here before, but this visit was so unpleasant it completely ruined it for us. I do want to mention that weβve had really great service here before. The shorter, thinner gentleman and the two female servers weβve had in the past have always been attentive, kind, and on top of everything theyβre honestly amazing. Unfortunately, that wasnβt the case today. The service we received this time didnβt match th

I went for the first time and absolutely loved it! We got a combo for 6 people (even though we were only five), and it was more than enough β the food just kept coming! We even had leftovers to take home. It cost $270 total for 5 people, including food and beers, and it was totally worth it for the amount and quality. You cook everything yourself, which makes it such a fun and interactive experience. They offer all kinds of meat cuts β my favorites were the skirt steak and brisket. Also giving 5 stars to the fried rice with onions and beef β sooo perfect. Definitely a must-try! Iβll for sure go back soon and bring more friends and family. Itβs the perfect spot for big groups. Only downside is you leave a bit sticky from the smoke, but honestly, no big deal. Bonus: they have an app you can download to earn points and get free food on future visits. Canβt believe I didnβt know about this place before, easily one of the best spots Iβve found lately!

Would have never known about this place if it wasnβt for DineLA! Did their lunch special and Iβm so happy I did. I chose the meat option C which was beef and spicy pork. The portion size was perfect for lunch and I even took a bit leftover for dinner. The service was prompt and they even had my favorite plum wine at a very reasonable $7 HH price. Absolutely would come back! Thanks to the great staff as well!
